It's still ridiculously hot and it might be hard to imagine the holiday season yet, but we have 20 Fridays left until December hits us and the holiday season is abound! 

The holiday season is one of the busiest seasons for photographers! All families are aiming to get their holiday photos done and get all their plans in place!

Usually you might wait until October and think "Oh my goodness! The holidays are right around the corner! We need to get our family photos done!" By then, your favorite photographer might be booked on days you want or need!

By booking now during the 'Christmas in July' special, you will pay for, schedule, and save money on your session! Beat the holiday rush and the cold weather! Just think about it! Presents for relatives. . . Done! New photos to hang in your house . . . Done! Holiday Card photos. . . Done! (Make your cards early and be the first of your friends and family to get them in the mail! No more holiday cards that turn into 'New Years Cards!') 

You can either choose a specific date or choose the month and leave the date open until it gets closer!

Home for the Holidays

It has been awhile since I've blogged. I got so busy with sessions, family, and the holidays, blogging just slipped by. I aim to do much more in the New Year! With that being said, my first blog of 2016 is of this awesome family. They were all gathered together for Christmas and we were able to get a large family shot plus shots of each individual family and all the groups of kids all within a half hour! The kids were done by then! Here are some of my favorites!

4 to 1

This was such a fun & energetic family to photograph! We had a very candid shoot as trying to get three kids under 4 to pose or stand still just doesn't work so well! Grace, the awesome big sister, was a little shy at first, but by the end was asking me to take more photos of her! Her little sisters, had fun playing peek a boo and running circles around their Mom and Dad. I have been dying to do a photo shoot at Springs Preserve, so mom quenched my thirst and agreed to do our shoot there. The girls found some beautiful butterflies to chase and admire while we were there. And while walking out, we walked right infant of a performer dressed like a Grapevine. It gave me the perfect shot to get such a pensive look from Miss Grace! These girls are all so cute! This dad has his work cut out for him! 4 girls in the family and 1 Daddy!

Twice the Love

I was so excited to find out that I was going to have the opportunity to photograph twins! These two were so cute! Israel went into such a deep sleep we were able to pose him and take some really cute shots! Little Elijah was happy and full of smiles. I love photographing little ones and getting tons of baby love! Here are some of my favorites!

Celebration Time!

I love photographing this family so I was very excited when we had two adorable people to celebrate and photograph! Mr. Amni is getting ready to start Pre-School so we had to get some Back to School photos and Ms. Willow is turning 2! Here are my favorites! We got so many great shots during this session! And I know one will definitely grace the walls of my future studio!

Fur-Baby Love

I was lucky enough to have the privilege of photographing my dear friend, Rachel, her wonderful partner, Pauline, and their three fur babies. It took a bit to get the doggies focused with all the rabbits and peacocks running around, but we were successful. Pauline took a little bit to loosen up in front of the camera, but with Rachel's help (and some extra silliness) we got some fabulous shots of the whole family! And their fur babies -- so cute! This session was geared towards Friday who is terminally ill - so you will see in the gallery that we got a lot of shots of him. Mr. Friday totally stole the show with his model-good looks. Tubie Love

I was so lucky to get the opportunity to photograph this amazing family! They had requested a photo shoot before their youngest son was due in for surgery to get a tube. Thus the awesome, matching, I Love a Tubie shirts! I had so much fun at their session and love the photos we got! Here are some of my favorites!

Cuteness Overload!

I love this family! I have worked with Kellie for years and have watched her family grow right along with mine! I was so happy to have the chance to photograph them! When we got to our location we were pleasantly surprised to find so many leaves on the ground and so many still giving off such fabulous color in the trees!
